There are lots of programs and websites that will resize a picture, I’ve found one of the easiest ways is to use the website www.picresize.com. Here at Summer Time Radio many people resize pictures so there can use them for their avatar. This step by step process will guide you though on how to upload and resize a picture.
1) Browse to www.picresize.com. Once the website has loaded press the Choose File button, select the picture you would like to resize and press continue.
2) You now will be given options to crop/rotate/resize/add special effects to your picture. If you would like to resize your picture to use as your Summer Time Radio avatar then please scroll down to option 2. From the Make My Picture drop down box please select Custom Size… next a width and height box should appear, please enter the value of 100 in each and select the pixels option from both of the drop down boxes. Please see the screenshot below of what your settings should look like.

3) Navigate down to the bottom of the page and press the I'm Done, Resize My Picture Button. The picture will now be resized and you will be given four options, please select Save to Disk.

4) You next will be asked to Save or Open the picture, press the Save button and select a location where you would like to store the picture. That’s it your picture has been resized ready for you to use.
